INK inc Public Relations Hires Director of New Media

Kansas City, Mo. - March 12, 2007-INK inc Public Relations is pleased to announce the hiring of Rob Walch as the company's Director of New Media. Walch's focus will be to ensure INK's clients have a positive presence in blogs, podcasts, and other online media.

According to the Demographic survey from Rocketboom conducted in February 2007, 66% of respondents' main source for news was from online sources vs. only 34% for traditional media (Newspapers, TV and Radio). "More people than ever before are turning to the internet as their primary source for news," said INK inc. Chairman and CEO Dick Grove. "Blogs, podcasts, and other internet media must be a crucial part of any company's public relations outreach. Rob Walch's experience and expertise will help our clients take full advantage of the opportunities that the online media provide."

Walch is the founder and president of podCast411, inc. He's co-author of the book "Tricks of the Podcasting Masters" and was also listed among the five most influential people in podcasting by the book "Podcasting For Dummies".
