Drew Avril has extensive experience in the fields of entertainment, consumer electronics, consumer goods and medicine. Most recently, he specialized in designing, managing and executing targeted media relations campaigns for high-profile physicians, hospital divisions, state health associations and medical devices. In addition, Avril has developed publicity and promotional campaigns for Twentieth Century Fox, Docurama, CBS Television Network, Warner Brothers and MasterCard. He has also represented Sony Consumer Electronics and managed its agency-side special projects team, and has planned product launch events for the NBA, NHL and NCAA. Prior to PR, Avril worked in marketing for notable clients such as Procter and Gamble, and in radio and television as a writer and reporter. Avril studied environmental science and communications at Cornell University,
English and journalism at Stony Brook University and broadcasting at New
York Institute of Technology.
