Jeff Rutherford

Jeff Rutherford has more than eight years of public relations experience representing technology, media, and marketing companies. Rutherford joins Ink, Inc. after a very long stint as an account director at Trylon SMR in New York City. While at Trylon, Rutherford secured press coverage for a wide variety of clients, from Fortune 500 companies (a small software company you may have heard of named Microsoft) to small two-person startups.

A native of Macon, Georgia, Rutherford now lives in a small town in Western Massachusetts - Conway - with his wife, Claudia, and two-and-half year old son, Zachary. Rutherford entered the public relations industry after working in both the newspaper and book publishing industries. A graduate of the University of Georgia (go Bulldogs), he worked at newspapers in Georgia, Texas, and Louisiana, and as a literary agent at the Denise Marcil Literary Agency in New York City. Rutherford holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Georgia.
