Sean Mahoney, Los Angeles

Joining INK with almost a quarter-of-a-century worth of public relations experience, Sean Mahoney works out of the Los Angeles market, where he's lived for most of his 45 years. Mahoney began his career by joining his father's Beverly Hills PR firm, Mahoney-Wasserman & Assoc., out of college in the early 1980's. His first assignments included the final seasons of TV series: "CHiPs" and "Happy Days" along with mega-miniseries, "The Winds of War" - later moving on to represent actors and recording artists ranging from Jack Lemmon and Bob Hope to The Who, Bee Gees and The Rolling Stones.

After two years with Burson-Marsteller, which bought the entertainment firm in 1990, Mahoney spent the remainder of the 90's working for several boutique firms where he designed and implemented comprehensive marketing and communications campaigns including numerous movie product-placements, NASCAR Winston Cup Racing, and Ozark Mountain Entertainment Mecca in Branson, Mo.

After joining the corporate ranks with Portland, Oregon-based Hollywood Entertainment in 1999, Mahoney has spent the last four years in Boise, Idaho managing national and international corporate communications for semiconductor leader and S&P 500 member, Micron Technology, Inc. He has recently returned to L.A. to be closer to his teenage children and to assume his rightful place in traffic on the 405.
